Join the Baltimore Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society (BAAHGS/Agnes Kane Callum Chapter) and the Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society (AAHGS).
Membership is open to all responsible individuals who share an interest in history, genealogy and the pursuit of researching one’s own family story.
Membership in AAHGS, the national group, entitles you to:
- A subscription to its bi-monthly newsletters and semi-annual journals
- Discounted prices to its annual conference
- Access to a knowledgeable network of like-minded researchers, among other things.
Membership in BAAHGS, the local group, affords you the chance, at our monthly meetings, to:
- Hear guest speakers
- Mentor and network with fellow members
- Go on research and historical trips
You should become a member of AAHGS either before joining BAAHGS/ Agnes Kane Callum Chapter) or at the same time. The membership period in both the national group and the local group is January 1 until December 31.
To become a new member or renew your membership, please complete the BAAHGS and the AAHGS membership applications and mail both applications, along with payments, to either of the names on the top portion of the BAAHGS application.
